How is this for a stat.

The last 4 teams to go into the second international break top of the championship ended up winning promotion.

 

Amazing stat. Pitty we dont know if thats automatic.

 

Feet & ground spring to mind, but the way NP has build this team & the way it´s playing at the mo... who knows

 

Well, Ipswich have to avoid defeat for us to stay top.

They're looking decent to be fair. I had them down as top half this season. Probably too much change too quickly.

 

With a wholly like Paul Jewell in charge they are going nowhere

 

Just did a bit of research.

Southampton (2011/12), QPR (2010/11) and Newcastle (2009/10) went on to win the league whereas Birmingham (2008/09) finished 2nd.

 

Southampton didnt win the league Reading did

In all seriousness, they didn't look up to much.

 

So far we have looked brilliant in every game except the first half of Charlton and Wolves

Nigel has got us a team as I said he would. Now team to reap the rewards and enjoy the season

Anyway, I think you will storm the division this season, as we would have done if he'd stayed with us.

And for what's its worth I think Wolves will go up automatically also.

I think this is an excellent point. You lot obviously have a bit of money, since you allowed Bruce to spend £2.6m on one player, so it would have been very interesting to see what Nige would have done if he'd stayed at Hull. Thankfully, he didn't.

 

... that was just asking for it......
