Hello Cottagers, One of the worst bits of business Liverpool ever did was letting young Lauri go as make-weight for Paul Konchesky. I see you've had him out on loan a fair few times, and not to strong clubs. Does he looks like he can make it, or has the bubble burst?
The worst part of that deal for Liverpool was letting young Alex Kacaniklic go.He looks a much better prospect than LDV. Dalla Valle hasn't really lived up to expectation as of yet and could probably do with a season long loan.
According to the more "in the know" members of our board it looks like the bubble has burst. He's not impressed any where he's gone. As you probably saw last Saturday, Kacaniklic (the other makeweight in that deal) is looking a much better prospect.
Watched LDV a few times and I am not impressed. i feel his true level may be a couple of divisions lower. A season long loan may give a better picture especially if he is given a regular starting spot.
