Easily the best left back. Wish we'd actually signed him but allegedly he was too old! Really good player.
I liked him when he was at Wigan but he's steadily got better until now he's got every right to be first choice for England. Any other position on the pitch and i think he would be in the team but Cole (despite what people may think of him) has been a consistent performer for England and is now living off that slightly. Unlike other players Cashley has rarely ever let England down (even poor tournaments and matches he tends to get a 6-7/10 performance in) so I guess leaving him in is the easy way out. I agree Baines should be in now, but it just happens to be the only position on the pitch we have two players I have confidence in putting in a great performance.
