This is about a Premiership club who's core fans on not606 were recently, lets just say less than graceful about the ethnicity of our new owners.


Whithout going into specifics the link highlights a real dilemna for those very same fans who appear to be on the brink of signing a talented Asian player who featured in the recent Olympics.



Are they about to copy the capital city and try tapping into the lucrative Asian market for investment by buying such a player or am I being just a tad cynical?

You're just an old cynic, I can't believe our friends would be anything less than welcoming to Ki Sung-Yeung.

This could actually work out well for both of us with Kimbo having a fellow countryman playing just down the road. Neither would feel so alone and isolated by having an international team mate close at hand.

Slight difference wouldn't you agree between a player and owners ,they have different agendas /motives

So what your saying is it's ok to racially abuse an Asian owner of another club but not a player from the same region if he plays for your club?
