Look at the 6 fixtures that could get rangers enough points, Everton home, 1 point, Bolton away 3 points they are shocking at home, won twice, W.B.A away 1 point maybe 3 inconsistent at home, Barcelona oops i mean Swansea 3 points they will have enough points so will not really be up for it. Stoke home 3 points terrible away from home. Sunderland away 1 point the honeymoon is over for o neill, and with home games against liverpool and arsenal there could be 2 points there, worse way 12 points, max 16 go in between 14 points gives 35 points,i believe it will go to goal difference and that will save rangers, cisse coming back will be the key, give the team a better balance and wil help zamora, but they need to show more fight than yesterday, and pass to there own players better, cant play as bad as yesterday again

Thanks for your effort and optimism Traveller, but I can't see it myself. It wouldn't be so bad if we at least gave it a good go and lost fair and square. But our performances have been shocking for 90% of the season. I can't see why this will suddenly change now. Especially as the pressure is on.

To be fair....Fulham were awful 2nd half with the extra man. QPR were by far the better side with a man less. You could be right about the points we could get...but at the moment it's hard to see where any will come from!! Oh...and your fans were pants yesterday (I feel better for that!!).

i know what you mean, but when zamora plays up front with a striker, he looks a different player, example newcastle home losing 1-0 nil looked awful, half time brings on a.j we win 5-2 bobby scores one and sets up three, yes you looked shocking in the first half, not playing like a team, drop the greedy moroccan, and good luck 999 from your ffc in laws, our first away win in 38 london derbys, or the other way not lost a away game in london this season with only spurs to play. my perfect scenario would be hughes to be sacked with 3 games to go, terry venables comes in and saves you,

Now you see, again you're not endearing yourself to me!! Taarabt is our best player by a mile and the only one offering any threat going forward. Drop our best player? Clueless!!

I would love to think we can stay up but I just cant see it anymore. Our run in is awful and we have not taken the points we should have out of the 9 'winnable' ones.

The Bolton game will be key, I think a loss there could spell the end of your chances if you don't beat Everton on Saturday.

I'm afraid I have to agree. Our only hope is for Cisse (when back) to go on a goal-scoring spree, don't see it happening though, we have no bottle.

Looks more and more to me like we need El Tel in now to save us! MH has got to sort out a system for our players that works and stick with it, stop chopping and changing both the way we play and who is playing. And he needs to do it now, not in April or May!

The problem hughes has got, he needs the team to play the way he wants, that does not come over night. well he get it right in time, who knows, at ffc the players went into his office after the 4-1 home hammering to man city, and said we cant play the way he wanted, and he listened to them, and we went back to play the hodgson way, thats a fact. so whether he can get the players jellying in time, could do a west ham and win against man city last game of the season

I think what will also help us in our fight to stay up is other teams getting injuries an suspensions. Aston Villa have got Bent out for the season, and Dunne is also out...we just need to "pass to the same coloured short as your team mate" and "keep 11 men on the pitch" "shoot at the goal", and "keep believing we can get out of the mess we are in and not rely on others shooting them selves in the foot"
