Yes i remember almost all of these being in the Hull Daily Mail

 

Monorail seems like a great idea but I think there's very few around. I wonder why.

 

The Monorail around Sydney's CBD is a real success story. Sydney Tiger care to enlighten the members , to the Sydney Monorail.?

Pfft, some people just have a one track mind.

 

My wife's company( TNT Australia) built it and ran it for a few years when it opened in 1988 after many anti-Monorail rallies. Never profitable and was sold off in 1996. Closed in 2013. My wife had access to free tokens used on it so we had free rides for over 10 years. It could have been profitable if the NSW Government had allowed the initial route proposed by her company.

 

I remember all the talk of Don Robinson's "Hull Bowl" over BP in the 80s and then watching as it ended up being a supermarket.
