1) Excellent owners, chairman, and fans 2) One of the best stadiums in the Championship 3) One of the best teams in the Championship 4) One of the best youth academies throughut every league 5) Nigel Adkins - need I say more! 6) Also Lallana, Fonte, Lambert. I know most of you will be thinking this but I just wanted to share my thoughts on how this is my favourite period of being a Saints fan in the past ten years. I think the team spirit in the squad has never been better IMO and this has been instilled by Nigel. Every player seems to be playing for one another and I think that this has been shown by our transfer policy. Look at Leicester, they have spent over £10 million in this divison yet they have got four points from four games. We have spent less, yet we are on maximum points so far (against tough opposition). I still believe we could strengthen in a couple of areas, however, if this does not happen then I definately will not be worried. I remember last season during the January transfer window we did not sign the calibre of players we were hoping for yet we went on a phenomonal run and claimed promotion. I am vey pleased with the squad at present and every player is battling for one another which is a characteristic which can't be bought no matter how many millions you pay. I also wanted to add that there has been some criticism on Alex Chamberlain on the threads on not606 from certain Saints fans. I feel this is unwarranted as I would personally have bitten anyone's hand off for £12 million quid. He did a good level of service for our club, although I think it was a mistake for him to go to a side where he will struggle to get a game ahead of Theo, but it would be hard to resist for any League 1 or Championship player, and I hope he develops into a top player Sorry for rambling on a bit but this is one of my first posts and I just couldn't have wished for better start to the season obviously lol but it just got me thinking of how optomistic I have been since supporting Saints. Just for having Adam Lallana in our team, we are the luckiest team on the planet. I'd settle seeing Saints in the Conference South as long as we got to watch that boy play. Oh and the other things you listed are pretty good too, yeah.
Can't remember being this happy as a Saints fan either! I've celebrated great escapes but thats for a different reason, hardly the same lol.
