How good is Gervinho?

Hi gooners it looks like gervinho is joining arsenal!

Has anyone seen him play like 10 times? I have seen him once he looks a fast, tricky type of player!

Not sure about his finishing but his lin up play looks good!

What are your thoughts?

I've seen him play 8 times so I am able to comment here.

But he's got a great name for football!

I've seen him play quite a lot this season, he looks a good player. I've been impressed with Gervinho more than Hazard.

I remember him from his Le Mans days, he's always been a talented player. We were linked with him a couple of years back as well, I wouldn't mind him replacing Arshavin.

As for Nasri, I just hope he ****s off. Useless ****.

 

He's mediocre.

Skillful but not much of a goalscorer. He's also quite lightweight.

 

I would say he is a poor mans Walcott as he possesses the same attributes but not as well as Walcott does. He was linked with Atleti so I watched him a few times and he has been poor especially at the world cup

there's loads of sources claiming arsenal are in for him. todays news is that man city are in too and ready to scupper arsenals chances of landing him.

But that is very much an Arsenal haircut.

 

The only source for him joining Arsenal is some fella MarcoSilva on twitter who is a freelance journo apparently, google his name and nothing comes up. The same MarcoSilve seems to get things consistently wrong.


NUFC have a person on twitter who seems to get things eerily right who claims that Gervinho is as good as signed for the club, however we recognise the fact it is a twitter source so a bucket of salt is needed.

 

We should only get him if Nasri leaves, but even then it will be a step down for us. Don't know why we need another attacking midfielder especially when he is not as good as our other ones.

 

i thought he was a winger / striker rather than a midfielder?
