Me and you both got on this one before last January's window and we have both been very supportive of Fletcher well before he came here. I knew the lad would be successful after watching him for 18 months and seeing him live. He is a terrific striker and I restate my belief he will score a minimum of 15 plus goals this season. Top player, top striker and just remind me again, what did he cost again? Anyone? Not even important anymore is it?
Haway Tony, give the lad some credit. 2 goals away from home on his league debut after a few fans and critics/pundits questioned his price. I think he deserves a huge cheer myself.
Was very good today, first goal in particular was a sublime finish, not a player I've ever rated so on today's evidence he has a good chance of proving me wrong.
We know best Cest! People just need remember this. The first was absolute top draw, confident finishing. Delighted with, and for the lad.

His finish for the first goal gets better every time you watch it......................I wouldn't begrudge Cest getting his trumpet out if it means he is getting a brace of goal every 2 or 3 games!!
My pal had £20 at 7/1 for him for the first goal. I think those 2 league debut goals, the first a great opportunist strike and the second just a good poachers instinct, will take all the pressure off the fee paid for him and in another 10 games people will be saying how did we get him for £12m not how much did he cost. Lets not forget this was in an away game as well and the first 2 goals Swansea had conceded in 3 games. We all saw how not scoring effect Torres but that particular monkey has been shifted in his first game. I have the absolute confidence he will score 15 + goals this season.
been signing the lad's praises since last summer to all and sundry. two goals right away is very important, takes the pressure off. and he wasn't even match fit!!
Apparently we havent had 1 single corner in prem yet this season! Bit embarrassing that like. Mind you we had 3 throw ins so that helps eh! How can we play 2 games tho and not have a cornes tho ffs?...
He could be the replacement for Bent we have all been waiting for. I think if he stays fit he will get 20 goals this season.
Cheer him every week kidda. He will be a huge player for us this season and for many more hopefully. 20 is a canny target for any striker at this level which is why I have always said if he gets 15+ I will be delighted. However, if he did get 20 then I think the amount we paid for him will be viewed as a total bargain.
