Despite originating from a Black and White family I introduced my nephew to the highs and lows of being a Sunderland fan when he was but a kid much to the disgust of his dad. In the day we travelled many a mile together supporting the lads and after I moved south he continued going home and away as a season ticket holder having very little to shout about. He emigrated to Australia around 18 months ago and then blow me we get to Wembley. Anyway the daft lad has winged himself a Club Wembley ticket and flies in Friday to watch the match before flying back 5 days later. He is getting married later this years so God knows how he has convince his wife to be to blow £3000 on flights etc. so hats off to him. So the question is does anyone else know of anyone else going to such lengths?
Yes, my bro-in-laws, bro-in-law flew in from new zeeland on sunday, returning a week sunday My mate is landing in london on saturday from florida returning monday Crazy cats
Slightly different but my uncle tried this with my son the other way around - I threatened to evict him if he supported Newcastle (he was 7 at the time) - he is red and white through and through - getting him a season ticket next season
