Say for example, offers came in for Barton and nolan during the January window, would he have accepted them,Pocketing yet more money to finance his casino account and in doing so probably push the fans beyond the brink and almost certainly condemn them to another season in the championship. All hypothetical I know, but just wondering what everyone thought.
I don't think anyone can predict what Ashley will do next, he seems to always pull off the unbelievable. Rivalry aside for a moment though, you have to feel bad for the genuinely decent Newcastle fans sometimes. I'm just glad we've got Ellis and Niall, couldn't ask for much better
