How far we have come

I know there have been quite a few threads over past weeks saying how far we have come over the past few years and it has been a really fantastic journey.

Browsing youtube I found this , the review of our first season under Markus.

It's well worth a watch if you haven't already seen it and for those who have I recommend another glance to see just how far we have come .

Whats going on in that bottom video? Saints fans taunting on the pitch?

 

We were relegated after a 2.2 draw with Burnley...unhappy bunnys.

We are not mathematically safe yet, but who would have thought a few months back that we would be on 38 points with 5 games to go.

 

I think it's pretty ****ing obvious how far we've come. 2009, -10. say no more.

 

After 10 games... 4 points, 20th in the Premier League
After 20 games... 18 points, 17th in the Premier League
After 30 games... 31 points, 16th in the Premier League
After 33 games... 38 points, 11th in the Premier League
After 38 games...?

 

From that BBC video, "Today the players train for perhaps the very last time".

I went all funny hearing that! I really had forgotten just how close we came.

 

First 10 games = 4 pts/10 (0.4/game)
Next 10 games = 14 pts/10 (1.4/game)
Next 10 games = 13 pts/10 (1.3/game)

so in theory, after 38 games, we should have 42 points!

That should keep us up?!
