suits me if 17th survives on 37 points. 13th would be a job well done Norwich! Can't help thinking with our run in that we'll need to start banking those points soon as

Not sure about Spurs in 5th, apart from that it looks pretty accurate <ok>

It reminds me of the cardboard league ladders you used to get in Shoot just before the season started. Everybody used to keep them up to date for the 1st month.

Did you make up your own teams as well, and the players names?

We had a rule that all teams were made up and no proper football names allowed as such.

One of my teams was called Cropley Rovers after the Villa player Alex Cropley, and most of my player's names came from the phone book <laugh>.
    Those were indeed the days.

Can't see QPR being that low to be honest - they will throw more money on average players come January.

Sunderland will leapfrog us too but I'd still settle for 14th very happily indeed.

I think those bottom 3 will be correct though!

One of my sons had loads of Action Men and my wife had to make football strips for them and they played each other. He wasn't really happy as they wore cumbersome boots and he wore Puma in his boys team. He made up names for them and the teams but I can't remember them. His favourite player was Peter Beardsley (Sam was born in NZ not Norwich) but we used to tell him that Action Man was much better looking than Beardsley (even Iwan was).
When I was a kid in the 50's I loved Xmas time as we had balloons and I could pretend I was Terry Bly (I loved the name Bunny Larkin but he wasn't good enough-Dave and Mid-way came remember him) and volley and head it indoors. We did the league and cup double with me as striker!
