I was expecting to just see the dancing man gif. But I have to admit that line up worries me. Bags of strength and pace up front, if our defence isn't on song you could run riot.
It'll depend on how fast the new faces can settle in. Same problem we'll have. I reckon having a derby this early in the season, especially with the squad rebuilding, is going to work out better for Newcastle than us, but it could go the other way.
Maybe so, but fair play to them. If they can exploit this mutual French love to get top talent on the cheap, then can't blame them really.
Looks a good sign, but Tiote will be overworked. Marveaux is slow, and doesn't track back, Matuidi is a fantastic prospect, i will admit to genuine envy if you get him. Think he's another left footer though, does this not concern you?
Not sure he gots on too well with your lot... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rton-pelted-Sunderland-fans-derby-mayhem.html
Perhaps, he does like to have a bit of crack with the fans that boo him. He was doing it loads against Liverpool when we lost 3 - 0. He kept putting the ball just outside the line on corners and it was driving their fans mental .
It worries me too, and I'm a Newcastle supporter. We should have £25-30million to spend, but the only players there which cost any money are Cabaye for £5mill and Matuidi for around £12mill (or so I've heard). The other two are freebies. I've excluded M'Bengue because we'd use Enrique's fee to buy him, so it pays for itself. Just having that after the whole window would be a bit dire. The quality of the first team wouldn't be that great, and the squad/subs bench would be almost as weak as it was during 09/10.
