Mane, Salah and Bobby all 27 and right at the top of their game. How do we replace them? All at once? One at a time over a few seasons? Who would go first and who comes in? Scary stuff.
So my idea is (reality will be so very different) Salah will be the first to go and it'll be RM for big money next season. Mane will move to the right and we'll buy Sancho who over time will build a superb partnership with Brewster. Mane next in 2 years time, plenty of cash again Mbappe his replacement as he's run his contract down and wants to join the elite force feared throughout the world that we are. Bobby is to be frozen in carbonate and buried under the centre circle. Mbappe Brewster Sancho take us into a new era. So nothing to worry about.
Klopp leaves, the trio follow and we buy the modern day Borini, Lambert and Balotelli (and still finish above Man Utd)
I honestly can't see Salah going to RM. Obviously (?) he will move on at some point but I don't think he's the type to buy into the hype around Real and Barcelona. A big club move yes, not sure what would suit him. Bobby defo could go to Spain, the S Americans love it there. Mane, really couldn't call it. Dream world all of them stay alongside Klopp until they can no longer bend over to do up their boots.
The modern day Borini and Balotelli would just be Borini and Balotelli, wouldn't it? The modern day Lambert... Glenn Murray perhaps? That said, Fabio Borini is a legend for all ages and would single-handedly keep us above Man U.
Replace them with life-size cardboard cut-outs. The sight of them alone will be enough to scare defenders into putting through their own net.
You're in for some bad news in the future then...Salah's had his agent hawking him to Juventus, Real and Barca for the last 2 years on the off chance they'd be interested. They've laughed the agent off mostly due to ridiculous wage demands. He's also had a serious PR firm working for him since summer 2018 whose sole task has been to make him more marketable and more attractive an investment to the likes of Real, a poster boy if you will. His dream has always been Spain (Juve seem an odd choice too but whatever) but that doesn't mean he's not currently happy at Liverpool, just he won't be here forever unless our profile continues to grow and Real's sinks.
Tbh i thought he would go this season or next, and tbh i not worried about him leaving (so not everything Saint ) in fact if Klopp is still around when he goes I would trust him and the team to find a safe replacement. I am of course now worrying about the fact that i am not worried about that
All can play for the next two or three years in high level, Mo salah is likely to be the first to leave. Jurgen Klopp may have a better idea if Liverpool's weather is kind enough.
None of us really know but it's very important that we have an idea of who we want if one of them decides they are off. Sancho is without doubt one to watch but isn't going to be cheap. Mbappe is silly money and will already be on the shopping list of Barca and RM. As usual what we need to do is find the Mane and Salah of the future, players who are just under the radar with huge potential.
Surely if it’s that important we should have some sort of poll Also does that mean whoever we vote for we will get to buy Is that you Herr Klopp.... ?
If we win the title this year, I cannot see any reason any of them wants to leave apart from a crazy price Liverpool cannot say NO to.
Good player, but why is Pep looking to get rid. I don't think he tracks back enough for a Pep/Klopp side. Could be worked on of course
I don't know where you find out stuff like you've posted here. I can't deny it's true because I have no idea. You do seem to be making it sound like he's money driven though. I don't think he is but if he is looking for a big money move it'll be so he can donate even more to charitable causes in his homeland like the £2.5m he's just given to rebuild a hospital there.
Anyone really that bothered? I dont think they want to leave, but even if they do we would want crazy money and I trust Klopp to use it wisely.
