<peacedove>Manchester City are yet to draw or lose at home: Liverpool away form is nothing to write home about.
Arsenal with a better away record than us went there to play them in their home game and lost.
As for me I would take a draw before the ball is kicked.
Do we go there to attack because we have forwards that can give their defencce a run for their money?
Do we go there to defend and go for a draw?

We attack.

We're not the sort of the team that grind out 1-0's. We are an attacking team. The opposition score 2, we score 3. Man City are the same.

Let's just go for it. Their defence are just as bad as ours.

It's difficult because they score buckets but also let goals in.

We play our best when we control the game which I think we will try and do.

We may end up getting countered.

No Aguero though is a bonus.

Their defence is their weak point. Attack is our strong point. Play to your strengths and play to their weaknesses.

How many CB's do we have?
Stick 'em all on and leave Suarez up front on his own.

Seriously: It's hard to see how we can stop them scoring, but for all their attacking prowess they're still vulnerable at the back so I'm hopeful we can bag a couple ourselves.
The two most free scoring teams in the Prem, both with fairly fragile defences ought to make it a cricket score.

So it'll probably be 0-0.

Attack, this could be a silly score if both teams get goals.

Attack. We concede regardless but their defence isn't amazing, so we just need to score as many goals as they do. We can't go there and defend, we will get ripped apart

press and press hard. they have to many weapons from set piece for us to sit back and wait for skertl or lucas to flog them a set piece.

press and take the ball off them, give yaya a hard time, out man thier midfield... get it to SUAREZ.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us go with 3 cb's. Thinking Rodgers switched to it end of last game to prepare.

Sit 9 men behind the ball and just get Henderson to pass to Suarez and then let him shoot because when that happens the ball tends to go in <ok>

I think everyone here would take a draw at the moment.

I hope we go for it. I'd rather go down fighting than try and contain them. The win at spurs was such a bonus that I think it's given us a bit of leeway to go for ir and it won't be a disaster if they stuff us. Aguero being out is undoubtedly good for us but Silva coming back certainly isn't. Having a team with a very young average age (24 against spurs) might cost us in terms of experience but if the team go out with the enthusiasm they've shown the last few weeks then we've got a chance at least <ok>

If Demichelis plays get at him as much as possible. I see Suarez causing this guy major problems…

Has to be Attack, Attack, Attack.

This home/away form crap is all mentality. Teams convince themselves that a team are better home than they are away. They're not. If you think that, you'll play negatively/defensively and set out to draw. Guess what, you'll either loose or draw.

City are vulnerable at the back. Go there and attack them. If we believe we can beat the City team (without Aguero too) then go out there and play our normal attacking game. If they play more gung ho because they're they're more confident at home; better for us as we're dangerous when teams leave gaps.

They're beatable and I'd back us to get a win there.

I don't see why we can't beat them to be honest. We were a Pepe Reina mistake away from beating them last time at the Etihad.

We need to attack and use our full backs to take advantage of the lack of width City have with Nasri & Silva out wide. Opposition full backs always get loads of space against them, so we have to hope Johnson gets out of his poor form. Plus they won't have Aguero or Zabaleta so that could help us massively.

look at west ham yesterday.

they never even bothered to who up v utd.

look at villa last week. they have convinced themsevles they are crap at home..

LFC need to forget about city winning at home cos frankly city are a team of big guys with a lot of power and a lot of weaknesses too.

we need at least parity of possession and our full backs need to actually cut corsses out. thats all.. cut off the supply and out man yaya and fernandinho in the centre... do that and we'll get one or two chances.

sit back and you are doing what west ham did v utd yesterday and we'll get a thumping.... deservedly too...
