Whenever I post on a thread the system seems to automatically 'subscribe' me to that thread.

The result is that just after midnight on a Monday morning I get a shed-load of emails detailing all the posts on all the subscribed threads. I'm sure there must be a way to turn this off but I haven't managed to find it yet. Can anyone help?

Apologies if this has come up before.

Well, while we're at it, is there any way of condensing posts, for example by switching off these bar charts and footer comments?

To unsubscribe from threads, go to [Forum Actions] --> [General Settings]. Then in 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' choose [Do not subscribe]. :)
(Forum Actions is in the white bar above)

I don't think there's any way of condensing posts though :/

Although there are 'Show signatures' and 'show avatars' options on that page too...

    Cheers Dan_boi, you're a genius!

Yes, it seems the posts can be condensed by unticking the 'avatar' & 'signature' boxes. I quite like the avatars but the 3 bar-charts, achievements, posts, points, level & Rep Power(what is that?) are things I could quite happily lose.

Jager seems a bit of a whizz with this - any ideas?
