...celebrate Remembrance Day?

Reflective two minutes at work and thanked all those that fought for our freedom.

God bless them all.

 

I remembered them.

I went to a remembrance service at the Church yesterday and it was a sombre experience.

I guess that the next 4 years will be the most poniant Remembrance days ever.

God bless their souls.

I also attended a church service.

 

I did the Same ER. Also went to church yesterday and watched the service on telly on Saturday night. JFT 29 million

 

Celebrate? Not really something you celebrate, the death of millions.

 

Drove 2 and a half hours to south of Dublin, had a two hour meeting. Drove 2 and a half hours back with a stopover in the services for a Latte. Such a fitting tribute

There was no "fighting for freedom" done in WWI as it was just fools on both sides dying for a dick measuring contest between declining empires. if we are going to celebrate those who preserved the freedom in WWII I would like to think they gave the biggest tribute to the Ruskies. Y'know the ones that paid the heaviest price and actually won the feckin thing
