Because we're probably suffering from the worst injury crisis in the history of the universe.

Krul, Coloccini, Steven Taylor, Perch, Simpson, Jonas, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse have all been injured or are injured right now. Pretty much our entire ****ing team!

How the **** do you deal with something like this? <laugh>

It's like fate is slapping us on the arse after our good season last season. Wtf!!

We paid off the right people. Freekick here, penalty there or a soft red card and bobs yer uncle.

Seriously though we usually play terrible football and get the results needed when we have loads out injured. Aint pretty but if you win the title you look back and think, **** we were stupendously good then werent we <ok>

Michael Carrick and Gary Neville in central defence with Fletcher at right back and Giggs up front. Worked like a dream, tho' we were playing West Ham at the time...

Helps that SAF stays loyal to his players and they are in turn loyal to him. So we still had players like Kusczak, Gibson, Brown, Park and Owen happy to fill in when they might have been ditched, or agitated for a move, were they playing for a lesser manager.

Sorry Tash but comparing the Toons squad depth to Man Utds is like comparing the Ritz to KFC.

Anyway I thought, Krul, Tiote, Cisse, Simpson, Taylor, Perch and Jonas all played today

At this point im not sure we can call our defensive injuries luck. Its seems a slight cold gust of wind could leave them out of action for a few months.

We have a lot of depth in our team so if we do have quite a few injuries at one stage of the season, we have others ready to be bought in to play (Who can do the job very well) but we have been very unlucky with injuries in the past few seasons.
