I was at work til about 30seconds ago. I work with mackem's and they're all telling me we were lucky to get all 3 points.

How did we actually play? Good points? Bad points?

    Cheers in advance

    TOON!!!!!

Good first half bar the corner before half time.

Defended well second half, Everton had most the ball though. Ben Arfa played better, helped waste time by holding onto the ball.

Started off strong, controlled possession and looked in command. Cabaye came off in the first half with a groin injury - he seemed well enough to walk off though so hopefully no huge worry. After Cabaye was replaced with Gosling we started losing the control we originally had, then Everton scored.
Second half was more of a cling on sort of affair where they had more clear chances and most control of the ball but we defended well and saw the game out <ok>.

Ben Arfa is going in for challenges now, that's all you need to know <ok>

Second half Everton deserved to equalise, but if you look through out the game I thought we deserved to hang on

Ben Arfa wasn't sloppy today, like he was against Spurs, even tho it was 15 minutes, was quiet impressed with how he wasted time, went into challenges and kept the ball like said above.

We were the better team, especially in the first half. Not great though, a lot of the players looked tired.

Yea really good second goal by Raylor.. maybe unlucky to go in at half time at 2-1, but yea as mentioned we lost the hold of CM.. was basically Guthrie trying to control it on his own. Benny seems a lot stronger and sharper. Last season it would of been 2-2 or even a 3-2 loss so yea our defence was strong <ok>

Said it already but I want a Man Utd Sunderland draw. Two weeks of looking at us in 2nd place will be great!

I think the phrase would be 'we ground out a result'. Horrible to watch second half, but another three points is all that matters.
