Just finished defrosting the car -9 here in Northampton Happily watching those that didn't bother going out yesterday trying to get 2 inches of frozen snow off their windscreens.
its about 24-25, was about 29-30 earlier today ; I dont half miss a bit of chilly weather now and again.
Is this what GC has finally declined to? Threads about the ****ing weather....... Get The Gape Out....
without being too precise - as someone on here will be sending pizzas to my door if I am - not to far along the coast from byron bay
This thread can only be rescued/made worse one way; It is a bright day here in the capital of Inishowen. Derry, ireland.
fookin barsteward schools yesterday got up, defrosted car, nearly broke neck on fooking ice, got kids loaded up in car, including wheelchair guess what? gor text message saying schools are closed as teachers cannot get in coooooonnnnnntttttzzzzzzzzzz
TBH having been there etc its not as easy as people think and its getting harder from what i see. A typical day begins at 7/7.30 and by th etime all your prep etc is done it can be 10/11 at night The whole holidays thing is a myth too, never had the whole 5/6 weeks off, teacher training etc However its pure laziness not getting in on friday as there was no snow, just icy on estates etc where gritters dont get to. but achievable Its the same with everyone I think I am doing a place up at the moment, and needed a 'man and a van' and couldnt believe how many turned the job down due to 'snow'. The guy I got in the end made a killing on the day
It's not that cold here in Edinburgh, the temperature has not hit -c for about 5 days, at the moment it is 6.9c outside and a cosy 25c in the house.
It was quite cold last night. I have an ornamental brass monkey - today I notice it has become a eunuch.
I just had a nice drive into Leeds and I'm ****ing nithered. Not a speck of snow to be seen anywhere though.
