How can people possibly call for Bruce's head??

This guy has taken us from the dregs in the bottom half, shipped out most of the deadwood and has brought in the likes of African player of the year and Ballon d'or nominee Gyan, the next big England star Welbeck, a bargain price for Sessegnon and champions league winner Muntari. Just a few of his signings without mentioning the likes of Elmo, Sir Titus and Neddy.

We all said top 10 would be brilliant at the start of the season and Europe was a crazy dream that was never going to happen. We still find ourselves in a brilliant position in the league!! We can't be overtaken for at least another week or two.

Every team has a barren run and it's no shame that our slump has came against Chelsea, Stoke (away) and Spurs!! Steve Bruce has done a brilliant job in the transfer markets and is getting the best out of players like Richardson, Bardsley and Ferdinand who were all being rumoured for moves away.

We have another few tough games on the horizon but then we have a 7 game run-in all against bottom half teams. If we can pick up a few points over the coming month and remain around where we are then we can knuckle down against the so-called "lesser sides" and tear them apart with the attacking force we can now unleash in Gyan, Richardson, Sessegnon, Welbeck, Steed etc etc

You have to remember also that we have had so many players injured this season and a lot of long term injuries too including Turner, Campbell, Meyler, Cattermole, Welbeck, Bramble and Mensah and yet we still find ourselves flying high.

So ha'way lads lets get a grip! We outclassed a team sitting in 5th today and if it hadn't been for a shambles referee performance and a little bit more luck we could easily have been sitting here with 3 points.

There's a decent chance we'll get beat in some of the upcoming games and yes we might drop a place or two but look at the table. We will be there or thereabouts this season in terms of 7th place and we have money to spend in the summer to mount a full scale challenge on the European contenders.

write to quinn, write to bruce, tell them your positive feelings imo, after a loss i'm sure they get some stick and its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease and all that so you know people who have a gripe are louder / more likely to stick their beak in when they have an issue than someone who is quietly content.
