I have to say that when he first came to Rangers I thought he looked a decent player, he had some decent games and looked comfortable on the ball. But for whatever reason he has gone off the boil. He seems to lack confidence, basic passing ability and pulls out of tackles he could easily make. Footballers should always be a bit ball greedy and want to take the ball on themselves and create somethign for the team but time and time again you see Edu running about the middle of the field avoiding the ball and putting in half hearted challenges. I can't remember the last time he had a good game and I just can't see how he gets picked every week instead of some of the younger guys that want to prove their worth. Ally you need to open your eyes and drop players who aren't pulling their weight.
I would swap you Edu for Samaras any day. I really would. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Edu has scored as many if not more goals than the Greek tragedy since you signed him.
Beware of Greeks bearing gifts. Those crafty Hellenes left a Trojan donkey outside the gates of Celtic Park.
The thing is Edu can play 90 minutes and get away with it as there will be people in the middle to help him out. Sammy has to score goals and when he doesn't then its clearer to see that his impact on the game is little to non existent
