Draw would have been fair but your lads wanted it more so congratulations We didn't create much second half, neither team did really. We went close through two Cabaye efforts and Ameobi very nearly put us 2-1 up (I thought it was in for a second) but all three of those efforts were from 20-25 yards out so weren't "chances created". Quality wise (winning goal aside) it was a game completely bereft of any quality IMO.
What an excellent summing up ... cheers marra Yes, you lot had the majority of possession in the second half and TBH were the better team ... but it's putting it in the onion bag that counts. Even Pardew admitted you "switched off". Having a load of possession and doing nowt with it, and switching off in defence, means you generally lose games ... story of our season until today of course
Looking forward to how Look Newcastle and Miss Clueless deride us tonight. Newcastle win they would get a ten minute segment. Sunderland win and we will get?
