Now we are in end of season standstill, transfer window yet to open still 2 weeks to fixture release day. Very little tittle tattle going on. Why do footballers get so long a break, why cant they have 2 weeks summer hols the same as the rest of us. Not me obs, life for me now is one long continuous hol.

Possibly because they should have the same holidays as the rest of us ie 4 to 5 weeks is normal across the UK and they can't just take off for a couple of weeks in the sun over the winter?
 
Very bored tbh. I'm sick of the whole lockdown/social distancing/mask wearing, just want to go on holiday, watch the Euros and get back to normal asap. These England friendlies aren't helping at all either.

You could do sport... I play a lot of golf... there is always diy/gardening both of which I put off, as long as I can. Also 2 g'kids
 
Enjoying it tbh, no Sunderland to annoy us every week and the euros coming up. Looking forward to it.

The weather over the last week or so has helped immensely. Hats off to Carol Kirkwood for such a good forecast.
 
it will pass a damn sight quicker if england have a good euro's, then it is almost straight into friendlies.

the Echo (i refuse to click for the stories) seems to be popping up on my f/book feed with supposed transfer snippets, i presume they are not really worth reading anyway and just more of the '300 players sunderland could buy in the summer' or i am sure there would be more news.

They only work for an hour and a half once or twice a week can't be that hard
