11 games played, approaching 25% of the season gone, on SUCH a poor run, still 10th and only 4 points off the play offs !? BONKERS. That's actually cheered me up no end. I honestly thought we'd sunk far lower!
Just goes to show that it's not really all doom and gloom, despite recent matches. A decent run of results could see us right back in the mix again. Sitting tenth in the league is, in my opinion, not the time to be changing managers willy nilly.
I don't want to change managers SD im very mindful of the state ITFC was in just 3 years ago and MM has worked wonders with a team of free transfers, cast offs and bargain basement players, I just think that if we want to progress we now need to buy some quality as most other Clubs have otherwise they improve as we go backwards.

Maybe you're right FM, I just don't have the confidence that bringing in more creativity would make much difference if Mick doesn't let them do their job. Douglas scored a few last season when given licence to get forward but has shackles on his ankles now. Yorwerth wants to 'play too much football', well yeah, it's what the game is about. A confident ball playing centre half can do wonders for a team, don't coach it out of him for Christ's sake. A slight re-jig of the team balance and less negative tactics would make most of us a bit happier.
Give it a couple of weeks, we will not be 10th and only a few points off the playoffs then!! Micks stubborness is going to cost us dear, i just pray the fans turn on him quick and something happens but i wont hold my breath, its not the Ipswich way as they say!!
Mick wont change it SD, the only way is if we get injuries and he stumbles across a winning formula, which has happened before!
I know we are only 4pts off the play offs, but we've still to play the big boys, and we've dropped points against the likes of Bristol, huddersfield, Blackburn...we have two very tough away games now, and if we don't get a win, we could be 7-10 points behind. BUT, if we can get 3/4 points, then it all changes
Best way to the top is to beat the teams above you. Doesn't look like that will be happening today though.
