Apparently when Tan has dispensed of MM's services, they have targeted a "household name at another British club" to take over.

I think it's going to be Delia Smith. What do you think?

Some asian household name is my bet....we won't have a clue who he is...<laugh> Mind you Dave Jones has been mentioned for a dramatic return....Out of the frying pan into the fire if that happens...

An Asian household name at a British Club? Hardly.

It's an interesting development though. Whoever takes it must be pretty desperate.

When you stop to think about it, there are a lot of managers available...
    Gary Megson
    Bryan Robson
    Dave Jones
    Ian Holloway
    Paulo di Canio

    Lots of good candidates there........

None of the names in any post as yet have existing links with British clubs.

I said a while back that Tan does remind me of Fu Manchu though.

Nobody that will be good enough to keep cardiff in the premiership will go there unless they want to ruin their career.<ok> People will think he is as mad as tan and would not touch him with a bargepole in the future...However it turns out it is going to cost tan a **** load of money, And what about malky's backroom staff, will they want to work for tan after this or will the new manager have his own backroom staff.. Its a huge mess that is self inflicted all because tan doesn't have a clue about how a football club is run......this will run and run for a while yet even if malky is sacked..

I've put a fiver on Di Matteo at 8/1
I think to state the words "household name" when describing candidates stinks of desperation to try and appease the fans. I don't think they really care at the moment as they don't want to lose their current manager, but Tan's PR is just trying to put a positive spin on the situation

You lads must be loving this.I can just imagine if Ipswich had some loony tune owner sacking a manager who had just got them promoted and, let's be honest, was looking like he might have a chance of keeping them there. You just couldn't make this up.
