I think we have a different understanding of garage.

The Trashmen were garage - with this classic famously covered by Da Brudders

ha ha yea! you are referring to garage rock, punk amateur bands rehearsing in a garage!

Im a music fan in general and love music ranging from: Velvet Underground, 13 floor elevators, Joy Division, MC5's, Fugazi, Dinosaur JR, Sonic Youth, Jesus and Mary Chain, Ride, MBV, Jungle, RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae, House, Garage (US & UK), Grime, prince, Funk, D&B, Disco, Trip Hop......... Anything good really!

I just thought that there might be people Interested in talking about a scene from the early 90's to the early 00's

I used to Dj garage in my younger years and played sets on RAW fm (north London 1998-1999), various clubs and bars over the years and now its there has been a renaissance of the scene where I'm blowing the dust off my dub pates and playing to a new generation falling in love with the scene!

A documentary about the history about both house and garage and how it evolved!

I suppose it rules out this little Garage Band from Notting Hill with their song Garageland.
    Were Amateurs Anyway.

Back in the garage with my bullshit detector
Carbon monoxide making sure it's effective
People ringing up making offers for my life
But I just wanna stay in the garage all night

    We're a garage band
    We come from garageland
