    Yes he does and is doing a great job for Nick. But Brian has that experience that money cannot buy. Imo, Brian would have been a great addition to Nicks staff but hey ho thats just imo.

    Brownie and Horton were sacked almost a month before Nick was appointed caretaker.

    If Brian had been appointed as Assistant to Nick and we were successful then people would surely link the success to Horton? Nick may not have wanted this?

    Nope. Some speculation had Brian coming back to help Nick out. But Nick has his own people in place which is fine.
    Just that Brian has a vast wealth of experience which IMO Nick would find useful. But hey ho.

    Possibly true. Brian Horton IMO never got the praise he deserved when here with Brown.

    Hadnt seen a thread, so eas wondering what you all thought about his appointment and the seperation from brownie. I personally think its a good move for him and hope he does well.

    I don't think Browny will go to Macclesfieled especially as an assistant. Would think it would be Steve Parkin maybe as his assistant

    If Barmby hadn't wanted the job, I would have liked to see Horton back at the KC as manager. Hopefully he does well at Macc Town.
