Regal Encore. JP McManus' four year old gelding was very impressive in the National Hunt Flat race at Chepstow on Saturday. Tony McCoy tracked Ruby Walsh all the way round and surged clear with a 'ton in hand.' Impossible to evaluate the strength of the form- or his future plans. You can get 16/1 for Cheltenham's NH Bumper, but I don't know if he's going over hurdles next. Worth watching at least.

I reported to the forum a few weeks back that McManus had bought him to stay in the yard. Quite a feather in the cap! He really could be very very useful.
