Many thanks for putting the selections up 1964 it's much appreciated.

Personally I prefer the flat so had 4 bets at Dundalk and fortunately 2 came in at 4/1 and 6/1 although the SP's were a bit shorter.

So a good day overall and wish I could post my selections like you do but I'm usually undecided until very close to the off.

Occasionally I do get some info the night before so will share when I can.

I prefer over the jumps to flat although I do love the major flat meetings. I detest all-weather racing, no interest whatsoever

Well done on making a profit, that's what it is all about if you are a betting man

    That's pretty amazing tipping 1964.

Unfortunately I was busy all day so missed out on your winners as I only bet if I'm there or able to enjoy an afternoon/evening in front of the telly.

Just been watching Chelmsford and managed a couple of winners but blew out otherwise so a small loss today.

Hold that thought though as have a 21/10 bet on CSKA so fingers crossed.

    Good morning Jammy

    Thanks for that

I always go into the next day with trepedation after a haul of winners like that, have to say I'm not as confident with my selections today but hopefully my luck persists !

Showing a nice little profit over the first two days I always approach these meetings spreading my bets so even though I've selected ten horses in the Grand National I generally find three or four of the first six, as is usually the case I tend to go for some at the head of the market plus a few tasty outsiders

Recent winners I've tipped are :

    2011 - Ballybriggs - 14/1
    2014 - Pineau De Re - 25/1
    2016 - Rule The World - 33/1

So lets hope the good run continues

    1.45 Louis' Vac Pouch
    1.45 Tikkanbar
    1.45 Golan Fortune
    1.45 Now McGinty
    1.45 Ah Littleluck
    1.45 Mr Big Shot
2.25 On The Blind Side (win bet)
    3.00 Petit Mouchoir (win bet)
    3.40 Thomas Patrick
    3.40 Rocklander
    3.40 Pearl Swan
    4.20 Wholestone (win bet)
    5.15 Lord Windermere
    5.15 Baie Des Iles
    5.15 Raz De Maree
    5.15 Saint Are
    5.15 Gas Line Boy
    5.15 See You At Midnight
    5.15 Anibale Fly
    5.15 Tiger Roll
    5.15 Total Recall
    5.15 Warriors Tale
    6.20 High Expectations
    6.20 Scheu Time
    6.20 Michael's Mount

Good luck for another successful day 1964.

I'll be watching Leopardstown as there are some truly class horses running there today. Probably won't have a bet as the going is heavy and so tricky to know how the horses will cope with that.

So a watching and learning brief for later in the season. Particularly looking forward to seeing Gustav Klimt as he was sensational when winning at Newmarket (good/firm) last time out when severely hampered in running.
