Recent games have generally been good watches. Regardless of the score let's hope this is another one. Hoping for 3-2 Watford.
Hopefully this will be an exciting game. I generally find that tuesday matches have a great atmosphere but do not live up to that on the pitch. I will be predicting 0-1 im afraid.
Well if it cheers up you Hornets, we are yet to win back to back in the league! Also we tend to perform better against teams above us, so now I've mentioned that I'm hoping for a foxes win
Ah, you see here in the East Mids I'm afraid it's dirty derby who like to play away with our sheep, they'd put our Welsh friends to shame
Nah, my Criminal law/Agency and Sale of Goods lecturer supports them. He was annoyed when i pointed out their match was postponed.
This club's official target is to be in the top half of the Championship or better. Leicester are no pushovers, but if we want to achieve that we need to be winning the majority of our home games against teams who are there or thereabouts.
Yes, as you're in the top half. I'm not saying we should expect to win this game, but if we want to be where you are, we need to win this sort of fixture at home more often than not.
Have things changed at Watford? When we played you earlier in the season, you all talked like you were dead-certs to go down. Now you want a top half finish. Excuse my ignorance, but have you been taken over or had a cash injection? Or is the general consensus still you'd be happy to avoid relegation?
I think he means Watford need to start beating mid table teams, which we are, at home which is fair enough. I just hope the same team turns up for us at Watford!
It's a fair question. The general consensus is that we have enough points on the board to not be worried about the drop (though we all accept it's still possible). Opinion is evenly split on whether we will finish higher or lower than we are now, but the club's stated aim for at least three years has been that in a good year we should be finishing among the top 30 English clubs. Most Watford fans take "English" literally (ignoring Cardiff and Swansea), hence us considering the top half of the league to be a barometer of success. As for what's changed, we've brought two new wingers into the squad in the last three league games, and taken seven points from them. With the wingers we were playing earlier in the season we'd have probably taken two or three.
