I am probably the most unlucky gamber in the world, I have never won a football bet hence I rarely do it, on that basis I have today bet on a City vs Palace draw or defeat in the hope that my bad luck continues !!
No offence but that's just stupid betting against your team based on superstition. Even a £1 I'd of laughed, if you win ill still think it was stupid
It's not really. If we win you don't care you've lost the money, if we don't then at least your beer money is covered. I never bet in my own teams favour as it'd doubly annoy me if we lost, and at the playoff final I had a covering bet on Bristol City winning the promotion that would have made the weekend completely free if we hadn't done it.
No it's £50 even money on a draw & £50 at 5/1 if we lose So as someone else said, if we win I'm happy, if we draw I break even & if we lose I can get drunk
Unfortunately !! I thought we were going to nick a draw especially after the sending off & came so close toward the end. That's £250 in the Christmas booze fund though, Tesco tomorrow as I think they have an offer on sparkling wine I'd happily have lost my bet for a City win (or even draw)
