    Hi guys

Wycombe look to have got off to a decent enough start, off the back of falling at the last hurdle last season.

Is it hope or expectation that promotion is achieved this time round?

I would be more than happy with another play off spot. At the moment it looks like Orient going in the right direction & Pompey having a bit of luck.

Agreed i'd take a play off spot for the money, with a small squad and being skint we're not ready for league 1 yet.

Its early in the season & a lot can change Shrewsbury & Southend both in the bottom four of league one

Always seems that way Phil. They might just squeeze out, but it will be a pretty tough and miserable season for them. However, you knew Burton would have enough with their squad.
I would also be happy at this stage for whatever would give us the most money. I think we need a season or two more at this level to pay off debt etc before we can think of getting a squad capable of average league 1 footie.
I predict we will end up 6th

Looks a bit unanimous then - a play off spot will do, and given the competition, that is probably about right.

I like the look of Pompey so far I must admit and could well be in with a shout of the title, though Orient should almost run away with it (but they are losing as I write this). Plymouth have finally found something like form too (but they are also losing as I write this) <laugh>

Early days as you say but who knows.

As always, keeping an eye on what you guys are doing :emoticon-0148-yes: (if nothing else, it's a nice distraction from what's going on at Norwich) :emoticon-0102-bigsm

IF we keep everyone fit we will go up. Trouble is as we proved last season that wont happen, so a play-off place is a realistic aim again i think

Don't let's get too hasty. We haven't yet played Orient, Pompey, Plymouth, Oxford, Exeter, Cambridge, Bristol R, Luton or Northampton; the top ten (with us) in the betting to win the League outright. If you take the 11 shortest priced teams for relegation, we have played 6 of them
