ive always thought bruce could do a job for us even after bent, henderson and gyan. after the signings larsson, o shea brown. i had HOPE in bruce - but why is richardson playing lb he is utterly useless as a defender and only ok as an a attacking player - why havent we signed a left back anyone would be better than richardson. - why does he refuse to play 2 strikers even if they dont have that much experience we will be better with 2 strikers rather than 1 . -we have an average keeper who cant yet handle the premier league stick westwood in who has played in the championship but he will be able to handle crosses better having played in a more physical game. -games just finished and before the game i had immense HOPE for the rest of the season but now its over im afraid my HOPE in bruce is no more. just to make things better they have won although they did have 12 players the other one just wasnt wearing his white stripes
Poolie you watched a different game to me mate. His positioning is awful, his passing is woeful, his tackling is dreadful. We could have just as well had no LB, as have this waste of space on the pitch. But apart from that he was ok.
Richardson is never going to be a defender when he loses the ball we are short at the back, Clattermole and Gardener were poor, why did he sell Malbranque? Zenden, Jones, etc? how can they cannot defend crosses from either side of the pitch, and this the worst defence in years, Bruce has to go now and hope Quinn gets a european manager in and quick or he has to go as well with Short they don't have a clue. The mid 1990's are back as they will make Europe and us the championship and that is it for me i am afraid.
