I have read the FSG open letter to fans and it gives me hope. they are obviously more cautious with this manager and funds, so they should be, i wonder what BR would have done with £70M - probably a hell of a lot. we need to be patient. FSG understand that a splurge of cash now (like last season) does not guarantee success, i think they are seeing how BR spends his money and will give Rodgers more if they agree with his methods (just a theory mind) 50% transfer success rate is better than 0%, its a very simple way of looking at things, but it is giving me hope! P.s. i love kenny, just think he was the wrong appointment for modern football, he is still a legend.
I'm sorry, but show me anyone with half a football brain who would of told you that £35m for Andy Carroll was good value at the time of purchasing. For a company that seems to use 'consultants' a lot, they seemed to go missing at that point. We could of bough Falcao for a fraction of that price. Blaming the stupid spending (and it was stupid) on Comoli/KD alone is shameless. And the failure to bring in a striker is just piss poor management at every level. FSG have a huge hole to dig themselves out of and this letter is attempting to do that. Sorry, but for me, actions speak louder than words.

Not with you on this, can't see how a consultant (if there are such things, aren't they just people with opinions) would be able to get involved in the hour between Ladyboy throwing in a transfer request, and us going for Carroll. And who gets credit for saying well if they want Torres its £50 million or they can **** off. Someone set the price and it wasn't our owners they weren't familiar enough at the time. Who knows Kenny and/or Comoli didn't have a conversation along the lines of Torres is worth no more than £25k but Abramavich will pay double that, so lets not worry about paying £35m for someone worth £15, he will do a job, the fans are already pissed off but we can build around the guy and purchase Saurez as well. Get your facts right before posting this nonsense Falcao cost Athletico 40 million euros with the possibility to go up to 47. You clearly are anti FSG and appear to be one of those who try and avoid blaming Kenny. He wasted over £100m on absolute dross. I think we may need our scouting system overhauled because clearly our range of targets is quite a small pool atm. Also I feel that if Brendan shows positive signs this season or even up to January then he will get the financial backing
