Hello Norwich Fans, United fan here in peace, i just want to say that i hope Snodgrass injury isn't serious, i hear our keeper put him in a recovery position.

good luck for the rest of the season.

I fear it is a bad injury indeed given that it took so long for him to even be put on the stretcher which for us is very bad news indeed considering we had another winger go off with injury this same game and we've got yet another winger out until the new year leaving us with one first team winger.

Lindergaard behaved impeccably, went straight over to Snodgrass in concern although I couldn't say if he put him in the recovery position or not for what it is worth.

Yeah, Lindegaard's reaction was something I was going to mention too. Instantly aware of the situation and tried to help before the medical team(s) arrived.

of course he did, moved him onto his side and moved his arm. You do know what the recovery position looks like?, showed good sportsmanship. I think this injury is going to be a major set back, the main thing though is if Snoddy is ok, hope it's not too serious.

Hughton's just said it's a knock to the eye socket and concussion. Hospitalised as a precaution.

    Redmond's pulled a hip muscle.

I read that as "knocked the eye out of his socket" first time <yikes>

Nasty and painful both. I'd have thought Snodgrass will be out for several weeks - much like when Ruddy knocked out Drogba.

Pulling a hip muscle tells us absolutely nothing unfortunately.

I really hope he is ok, certainly bad for the team despite what some fans think of him. Main thing is that he is ok

I don't think either really tell us a lot, but probably because the club don't know the full extent of both either yet. At least the muscle was a "pull" not "tear", so I wouldn't expect too long a lay-off there. Snodgrass could be anything really, 48hrs of feeling groggy to a few weeks. If surgeryman's online maybe he knows more about concussive injuries.

Not kidding you but Drogba nearly died on that day, he stopped breathing a few times, great atmosphere at Stamford Bridge on that day during that incident you could tell something was seriously wrong it was unnervingly quiet.

One slight positive Snodgrass wasn't out cold when he landed, I thought it was a neck injury at first quite glad it is not as bad I thought.

Could be pretty nasty if the eye socket is involved, when i played i got concussed with a clash of heads and got a depressed cheekbone and fractured eye socket for my troubles, I was out for 10 weeks and it was bloody agony. Would never wish that on anybody, hope he is ok.

very serious looking injury - he was out cold and it took more than ten minutes to get him off the pitch. and what did some of our fans do? cheer - because they don't want snodgrass in the team. **** sake...

i hope he is ok and makes a speedy recovery.

really?, I didn't notice that, what a bunch of sicko's, the fella was concussed and on a spinal board. Does make you wonder if they are true NCFC fans behaving like that.

I made the mistake of joing the NCFC supporters Facebook page, to see if the garbage being spouted was as bad as I'd been told and heard about on here. **** me, it's ten times worse, with Ian Butterworth's son Ed one of the chief protagonists. Some of the vitriol flying around was just poisonous (though not racist) and it was like reading comments written by Binners rather than people who profess to support our club.
I kicked it into touch right quick before I got involved in slanging matches (or worse) with some of the "contributors" many of whom are total assholes. <grr>

I don't think anyone was cheering because they were happy Snoddy got hurt, nobody is that heartless. They were cheering the efforts of everyone involved (Lindegaard, Man U medical staff etc) and were happy that the game was underway again and Snoddy was able to be taken for treatment and applauding Snodgrass for being so brave. I think it was United Fans cheering mainly, at it was our of respect, not contempt.

I take it you didn't see the morons on twitter then, there were some horrific tweets about him from alleged City fans!

If that's the case then they are genuinely disgusting people. But I doubt they support Norwich enough to make the trip to Manchester and applaud a potentially very serious injury to one of our players.

sorry but you've definitely got that wrong!

many even sang josh murphy's name because they were excited that snodgrass would be replaced by the youngster, something some had sung prior to snodgrass even getting injured. there were a few altercations in the away end where people were getting angry about it.

praise is certainly due, especially to lindegaard and the medical staff and indeed the united fans who applauded snoddy off - as far as i recall, it was the loudest they were all night in the theatre of zzz's
