We are fourth bottom.

We have a lousy home record.

We are in a relegation battle.

Now that MON has taken over I think we will enhance his reputation as a manager because we are far better than we appear to be at the moment.
It's a brilliant appointment for MON (and for us of course) because, if you look at our games so far this season, we have played quite well in many of them and should in all fairness have another 5 or 6 points than we do now (Wigan, mags, Fulham & Wolves for example)

We have a reasonable squad. We all know we need proven strikers.
With a Bent like player we would have been top 10 I'm sure.

There isn't too much wrong with us and remember, we have some good players returning (or will do in the next few months)

Most of us will have noticed we were winning while playing 4-4-2 but as soon as ding dong went off we conceded 2 goals playing 4-5-1.
I know it would have been different had Brian Phelps scored the penalty but he didn't.

I don't think getting us to a reasonable position in the league will be as difficult as some seem to think and this will add to MON's reputation.

An earlier post shows we haven't lost by more than 1 goal so the games have been tight.

My bottom line is that this SAFC/MON pairing will be extremely good for both partners.

He makes things good, his reputation goes through the roof, SAFC are the main benefitactores..(sp)

If and when it works out, it's an ideal appointment for both parties...

With the appointment of MON, perhaps it is now time to adopt this as our new signature tune...

I remember the original being part of my parents record collection, and if I'm correct the 'B' side was a song called 'The Blue Train' which I used to think was great..

But far to many games we have lost, have been because of the tactical ineptitude of the person in charge at the time.

I honestly believe even without any great team changes MON can mould these players to get us up top half. <ok>
This squad should not be relegation fodder, played correctly IMHO.
