According to hampy "no stubs again this season" he is overated ansd couldn't hit a barn door. However if he played for Southampton then he would definitely gp to Brazil.
People tossed one off over Suarez's first goal against us but Bennett and Bassong gave him yards of space to do that, but there is people out there calling it goal of season rather then atrocious defending. Either way both goals took tremendous technique most forwards would blast it over the bar.
Absolutely NOT!!! We were all admiring his skill - our previous GH would have put it in the Barclay!!!!
I think he would of too, he scored some brilliant goals for the club but a lot of his goals towards the end of his time here were knocks in, don't get me wrong I'm grateful for any type of goal by the way. I'll have to see more of Hooper I've been impressed with what I've seen so far.
He would have been wasted in the Championship. He seem to just be in the right place at the right time.
It's brilliant to see someone at our club with that striking technique. Individual skill but a great team lay-off too.
He does that because he's been wrong footed - look at his step across - he's not ducking he's trying to get his head to the ball, but because he thought Hooper was going to go to his left, which Amat commits to, he ends up sideways in an attempt to throw in the block. I think it's about as good an effort as he can do having been wrong footed.
