Funny as **** if Aston villa now don't want him, laugh my arse off.

In all seriousness tho its not like he's saying I'm not playing in the championship I'm a PL player. He just wants out because he wants to play so good luck to him in that regard

On his day, he could be brilliant - but IMO, he had too many 'off days' when he played in the Prem.

Well, assuming Adams goes all out to sign that upgraded ACM who may well have helped keep us in the Prem, Wes will surely be surplus to requirements anyway.
Thanks for all the memories, squire <ok>

All good things come to an end, what a player he has been for us.

He has been a great player for us and just as instrumental as Holt in getting us up to the Prem. Such a shame it has all ended so sourly. Yet another casualty of the awful last two years.

Time to move on I'm afraid. Need a new creative midfielder now

Two please. If we only bring one in then we've still only got one source of central midfield creativity. If they underperform or get injured we're back to square 1.

Good riddance, I don't want this little weasel anywhere near the team.

Apparently we've been linked to Nick Powell? If those rumours are true then they'll certainly be no need for Wessi. Best of luck to him, I say!

Always grateful for Hoolahan's contribution to the team, but I don't like his unprofessional-ism. Hopefully we will keep Howson who I think is better anyway and get someone else as back up.

Am i the only person that doesn't hate him? He's been one of the few players to really get me excited. Everyone else we've played in the last few years has been monotonous predictable and in the end ineffective. I felt for him when he wasn't getting played and can understand why he wanted to leave completely. To want to leave a team he has played so well for and has just been relegated having been left out of the side consistently, whilst other midfielders were proving ineffective must be so frustrating. More than understandable in my eyes.

He'll go down as one of my favourite players thats for sure.
