3-5-2 worked a treat with the right players it was some of the best football. I've seen at the KC for ages
Had a very good game and made a brave goal saving tackle just after we'd gone 3-1 up. Didn't put a foot wrong IMO. Quinn was excellent and Elmo had a good game as well. In fact the whole team played well, Simmo was outstanding.
I said to OLM with 5 mins left that Alex Bruce had played well, and I was being serious - he didn't do anything outstanding but he did everything he had to well and was part of a very good team performance.
Alright at the back, made a few poor chips to the likes of Aluko being marked by Zat Knight that were never going to work. I'd say he was still the weak link of the back 3, both Faye and Chester very impressive again.
3-5-2 is fantastic when you have midfield players who want the ball, and can pass/run with it. As we showed today, that extra man in midfield means you can dominate opponents, pass it around, create chances etc...
Bruce was fine, my problem with him isn't so much his ability, as the fact that he was an unnecessary signing that's ****ed things up for Cooper.
What a **** your pathetic. He was excellent in an excellent all round display. Best game i have watched in a long long time. Apart from a weird goal for them and the biggest back side (Davies) i have ever seen they had nowt. We dominated every area of the game. As NFU said great last dich tackle from AB. Him and his old man had a right ding dong first half too.
Didnt hear you saying that when Pearson signed Chester and Hobbs. disgraceful that not letting a local boy play after his prem experience.
Look at how many times he lost the ball compared to Chester, that's the difference. I didn't say he had a bad game, he was alright. You can think he was excellent but I'd say you have fairly low standards. If he was excellent how would you rate the likes of Chester, Simpson, Aluko and Quinn.
