Honestly not fussed.

Will seem bitter but I wasn't expecting anything from that game and we got nothing so I'm okay with that. Our 3 best players in Ramirez,Lambert and Lallana didn't feature so no one can be that disappointed.

Pros

No more cup games we can concentrate on the league.
Boruc was decent and is starting to get a good run of games.
We didn't play our entire first team.
Jay Rod scored another good goal.

Cons

We lost and that's always upsetting regardless of the difference in teams.
Fonte was injured.
We can't win the FA cup now.

 

I will go along with that but I was disappointed by the lack of defensive application after they scored. It's only a cup game sure, but if we play that lazily in the league we're going down, no two ways about it.

 

Didn't want to lose 5.1, but am sitting here perfectly calm. The League is everything.

 

Thats exactly the point though, it wasn't the league it wasn't the team we put out for the league and it wasn't the standard we'll meet every game in the league. However every neutral will predict us to go down after that like the clueless commentators for my stream.

 

One game isn't a disaster especially as it involved no points. Good result against Arsenal didn't make us worldbeaters and this game doesn't mean we are rubbish. Doubt that the defence would be lazy in a league match.
