Not a knee jerk reaction our club has been going backwards for years and how low do we have to fall before Wenger is held accountable by the fans, the board, etc. Our team has weakened significantly and the ability to bring in quality replacements has disappeared Apart from Wilshere, TV and RVP there's no stand world class players at our club Wenger's time is up, they won't make a call mid-season but when we obviously fail to make 4th he needs to be replaced!!
It seems to me at any rate that we have to buy an attacking player this window because of the poor form of everyone else bar RvP and Henry. I won't say Wenger should go just yet as I will wait till the season is over before. However I do share your frustration at our stagnation at the moment.
We don't have anyone on the pitch who can turn a game around in the way that Viera did and we lost him. We don't have anyone in the dugout who can get the team to turn a game around. So if you have people who can't get the job done, you put in people who can.
The pitch has been awarded the best in the league for a few years and today had two passing teams using the same grass. You need to start building from the back with a good midfield backbone and today our little Swansea boys came out in top against the spine of your team. You still have Jack Wilshere waiting in the wings but I feel your back 4 is not good enough. You are still in with a chance for Euro / FA cup glory so heads up!
Enough is enough when the club finish outside of a Champions League spot and start making a loss. Until then as far as any of the big wigs are concerned everything is fine.
Hasn't he always said Mr Wenger has kept us in contention? I guess an also-ran may be seen as a contender. Some people are seemingly content with a lowering of standards.

Why did Arteta not play? We were completely overrun in midfield. It may not have made a difference but he does bring a sense of maturity and overall calmness to the midfield and is certainly better defensively than Ramsey and Benayoun. So where was he?
I've always considered myself an optimist concerning Wenger. I had always thought that when we had managed to pay off sufficient debt on our new stadium we would once again start bringing in top players and make a serious push for the title. I believe that if we had a great squad Wenger would be the edge we needed to finish above the other teams. I now am starting to believe that I have, along with thousands of other gooners have been duped. Where the hell is the investment? Injuries happen every season and if we had enough back up in the attacking department, the defensive problems would have a far less damaging effect because we would simply score more goals! There are many players in our squad who are either not ready for PL football or have proven that they'll never be ready and what is more infuriating is the complete lack of fight in some of our players. When an exciting talent emerges in Europe I never even for one moment think that we'll end up signing him, it's either one of the Spanish or Italian teams or the ambitious premier league teams - not us. It's getting beyond a joke now, we need reinforcements and we need to get rid of the no-hopers once and for all! We are not asking the world Wenger! We don't want our club to be bankrupt by spending stupid money but if a top talent like Goetze or Hazard would cost us 30 million, for God's sake just pay the money and I assure you days like today would be far more rare. I am seriously worried about our prospects for the near future, it is likely that RVP will go and we stand to lose out on 30 million if we finish out of the top four. We have slowly deteriorated over the last five or six seasons and I would like to offer my apologies to the pessimistic posters I have criticized in the past, in hindsight I can see what you have always seen, a slow-motion, avoidable car crash that is threatening to transform us into a lacklustre mid table team.
well said mate - I am truly sorry to have been such a bearer of bad times ahead for the last several years- but I cannot see how we are going forward. Each year Wenger pulls off a miracle - yes it is - to get us into 4th, BUT the luck is running out and squad depth has got poorer and poorer. Cole, Ade, Toure, Clichy, Fab & Nasri to name a few could see it. The other sides are now financed and pay top-dollar - we only do bargains when panicing. It is shocking to witness this great club go downhill- we are now becoming mediocre. - Nobody fears us. Easy to fall from grace - but damn hard to get it back.

Wilshere is not world class..your remark is your problem highlighted to a tee!! if you think jack wilshere is world class then no wonder your team is suffering..id choose 'world class' for RVP and that is it...you can rant n rave at me because im spurs..but im not wumming....its like being happy with 4th..tell yourself that long enough and you will start to believe that 4th is almost better than 3rd...if you get what i mean.
I'd agree RVP is world class- but your side has none. I base this on picking 3 teams of 11 - he would get in - but none of yours.
