Some valid (and Vadis) points raised in this piece http://duncanedwards8.wordpress.com/2014/10/22/the-pressure-thats-building-were-piling-on-ourselves/
Very good summary of our difficulties, then again, with a name like that, he should know all about football!
Good summary, cheers I also agree with him about Johnson being the latest scapegoat. Johnson has been at the centre of much that has been good this season - so yes one bad game against Fulham does seem a little harsh, but we already know he's been a target for fans for some time.
Excellent article and have to agree with the bulk of it. I'd certainly like to see more of Vadis and with Laffs suspended, Grabban will probably be drafted back into thee starting line-up for Sat. Something needs to change, so that we can break defences down and IMO, the answer is not Wes, he is being too closely marked these days.
I'm pretty sure that's why NA dropped him to the bench because he was getting a bit hot-headed on the pitch, he was in danger of getting a red in one match!
Good article and I agree with the argument. For me, the performances have been consistently good even when the results have not. Some say that winning when playing badly is the sign of a good team, but I don't agree. Playing badly is never the sign of a good team. Nor is losing or drawing the sign of a bad team. IMO, much will depend on how Howson, Hooper and Odjidja-Ofoe do now that they're finally available for selection.
Yes, he was brought off at half time just after he'd had a good week with NI in the last round of the qualifiers - he came back to CR thinking he 'could walk on water!!!' NA put him in his place!!!
Not sure if that was it. He's pretty established in the NI side, maybe he was just trying too hard at his new club. He certainly needed to calm down, so NA was right. I just saw that the Palermo club president called him an "out-of-control womaniser"
