BRISTOL CITY: Pressure for a home win is growing on my players, says manager Steve Cotterill

Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill applauds the crowd following Saturday's 1-1 draw with MK Dons at Ashton Gate.

MANAGER Steve Cotterill believes the pressure of a home win is "growing" on his Bristol City players following the 1-1 draw against MK Dons last weekend.
The Robins are still without a win at Ashton Gate this season after Daniel Powell's goal in the fourth minute of added time denied them the three points.

Cotterill's men, who sit bottom of the Sky Bet Championship, have now lost four and drawn two games in BS3 this campaign.
With the international break now in play, City's next game is at home to Nottingham Forest on Friday week.

Mulling over Saturday's draw, Cotterill said: "We needed that home win to get us up and running here. We should have been 3-0 up at half-time, but if we can't take our chances then we need to keep a clean sheet.
"I've said to the players and staff I hope the pain for you on that goal is as much as the pain is for me."
City have claimed just one victory this season and that was on the road at Middlesborough in a 1-0 win.
Still in search of a triumph at home, Cotterill added: "The pressure of the players getting over the line and getting that home win is growing on them.
"We've got to get back to being courageous on the ball. We did it against Ipswich and we did it in the first half (against MK Dons).

City went ahead against Karl Robinson's side thanks to a sixth goal of the season from summer signing Jonathan Kodjia. But they were also guilty of missing further opportunities through Luke Freeman and Kodjia.
Cotterill said: "I wouldn't ever castigate anyone for missing chances because they have to get there. But the move for Luke Freeman to get in and the chance for Jonathan could have been goals. If they go in then it's 3-0."
Cotterill installed Bobby Reid to the starting line-up last Saturday, with the manager showing his attacking intent following the inclusion of the midfielder.
The 22-year-old, who has impressed in the matches he's started, set up the first goal after getting the ball off Dons defender Anthony Kay.
Reflecting on the assist that set up Kodjia, Reid said: "We knew they'd try to play football, so they would give us the chance to nick it. I was on his blindside and he didn't see me coming, so I was running through and Jimmy (Jonathan Kodjia) was on to square it. So I thought why not?
"I could have gone myself , but I knew it was a goal if I played it across."
