Been told on CL I was "chatting s***" due to asking for a day off of rose tinted specs with an individual.
A great expression reminding me of my Catford roots and terms<doh>.
Unbelievable how people can get excited over another two games without a win, dear oh dear.

Depends how you look at it mate - we were suppose to get hammered in the last 2 games against the table toppers and we’ve salvaged 2 points rather than lost 6 points , we’ve got a mountain to climb but that’s helped a little - the fat lady is clearling her throat though

The fewest wins we have notched up in the 3rd tier (modern era) is 14.
Under Slade :emoticon-0113-sleep and then Gobbo in 2016-17.
That season we only lost 14 too, drawing 18 games.

With 12 games to play this season we have only won 7.
Are we now going to win 7 of those remaining games?

And we have already lost 14 games. As many as Slade & Gobbo managed between them in 46 games, seven years ago.
We likely need another 15 points to have a better than 50/50 chance of staying up.
Call it 4 more wins and 3 more draws, just to hang on to 20th place.

Draws against Bolton & Portsmouth are credit worthy.
But they won't keep us in this Division because of a string of dreadful results earlier in the season.

Not particularly, because we don't have much quality in the squad, and our best player can only play 30 minutes without breaking down. But it was our first clean sheet for about 3 months, and there was a real collective effort. I'd say we've now got 50/50 chance of staying up, which is at least double what we had a month ago.

A geezer on CL said that our last two games show that we have something to build on!!!
We MUST win games, Jones has now not won in four games now<doh>
