We played 5 games at home on a Tuesday night and 2 Friday night games. We won ALL 7 of them. We played 2 games at home on a Bank Holiday. We won 1 and drew 1. I just hope if its another slow start, the fans dont disappear again. Hope they stick it out. More fans = more money to make changes. Because we has good crowds we were able to afford Lines who made a difference. So I hope we stick with the team no matter how well they are doing.
Those really are excellent attendance figures - including a Conference record 11,085! It's amazing that we only dipped below 5k once. Well done Gasheads!
We also got 18 of the top 20 attendances. 1 of the 2 that didnt involve us was between Lincoln and Grimsby or Wrexham and Grimsby because of some anniversary game.
And of course we shattered the record attendance for any Conference fixture - 47,029 - I don't think that will be beaten for years and years.
