http://www.swanseacity.net/page/Latest/0,,10354~2431308,00.html On pre-order now, but won't be in the shop till late september. I think they should do a reduction on price personally, because we haven't been able to get a home shirt till two months in to the season. Not going to happen but...
Not at all happy with the commercial manager who really needs a course in retail sales, she hasn't got a clue what sells well and what doesn't. To be so short of home shirts at this stage of the season shows a complete lack of understanding with regard to the status of our club even if we'd stayed in the championship. With the new Adidas supplier surely she realised we would sell more than just 6000?? Also where is the ladies gear this year, nothing at all on sale in the club shop yet females are the ones that love to shop and we certainly have plenty more of them supporting the Swans these days. In the past the designs and quality of stock for women has been very poor, what an opportunity wasted to make money for the club.
lets be honest as club shops go, ours is a bit mickey mouse, the ospreys have most of it for a start, and to adidas we're a nobody, do you think any big club would be without shirts.
Give them a chance. The response for home shirts was overwhelming. Come on, we're all following the same team here. It's a bit of a learning experience for everyone, so dont be too harsh. I actually think the merchandise is excellent, although I agree the swans should have more shelf space than the. Ospreys now.
I queued for a home shirt and had it personalized too. I'm not getting the away one I think its bloody horrible
In fairness to the club they based their ordets on previous seasons and the order was placed well before we knew we were in the prem league. I cant see how anybody can blame the swans for that! They struggled to æll their last kit with the number ordered and ended up selling at discount to short them . All the stick the club is getting regarding shirts and Even tickets is unfair IMO . Blame the prem status not the club. In 2months the swans have gone from being local to globel , it Will add extra core support Even with relegation so must look at the positive side
Agree with Norway, be patient and proud everyone will get one. For those who struggled to get a shirt, how come you struggled I want to know? I was working in the morning and then ordered mine in the afternoon online, simple process and it arrived a couple of days later no stress and no fuss????????
I Think it just caught alot of people off gaurd.when we Mo ed from the vetch it took a while for people to understand that pay on the door at five to three was not going to happen any more. That was a favourite moan back then. Change is not good for some people ya know !
