Bolton - lost. Got humped by a Premiership team who looked head and shoulders above us
Newcastle - draw. New signings did well and how we didn't win was beyond me, we showed a lot of class
Villa - draw. Had to rely on an own goal at the death but not for the want of trying to win the game, Villa were very poor and we looked on top for most of the game
Blackburn - draw. Not much more would have been deserved, awful game to watch
Chelski - won. HH went down like he'd been hit by a sniper to get the penalty, The Scum fell apart and we won but it was squeaky ring time even when they were at 9 men
Man City - lost. But what a game we gave them, shame we didn't nick at least a draw
West Brom - Draw. Should have been a win, Brom were very average
Man Utd - lost. Gave them far too much respect and only got going late in the game
Sunderland - lost. Missed this one but reports said we were shocking for the most part
Norwich - lost. Cruising at 1-0 up but Barton & the officials conspired to lose us a guaranteed 3 points
Wigan - won. Hooray, 2nd win of the season but let's face it, it was against Wigan
Wolves - lost. Another easy home banker ruined with another red card (Cisse AND Clattenburg should have done better)

Is this a fair review of home games so far? We got 10 points from these games but it should have been 25 in my opinion. If any of you made it to the away games what do you think we were like then?

I was at Stoke, a fully deserved win on a great day, though the last 20 minutes were very nervy! I was also at the Chelsea game, so I've booked 3 wins in 3 visits for the Reebok. If we win there then RyanAir will increase their ticket sales until the end of the season!

Still can't get that game out of my head. How good our new signings looked especially SWP. How in the name of God could he play like that in his first game and be so useless since? Its enough to make a grown man cry. <wah>

Reading back over those makes me very, very depressed. Relegation home form if ever I've seen it.

I remember during the long preseason one of the things we all felt confident about was the fact that no one would fancy coming to our ground and having the crowd, noisy and passionate, on top of them; we felt sure it would give us that extra edge in tight games.
Well it worked against Chelsea, but very few others. Why was that?

At least we have 13 more games to turn it around and it is possible we may get a quick win and take off from there.

I was at Wolves. 3 - 0. AJ tapping the third in for fun. Ah, it all seemed so simple then...

Have we only won 5 games this season?...that will need to change with immediate urgency if we are gonna survive. EEk

What annoys me more is the amount of games we'll regret if we go down, it's not just a couple, Newcastle/Villa/West Brom/Norwich/Wolves, could even throw City in there, and Bolton but for different reasons...

Spot on. If there was anything to feel confident about last August, it was the 12th man at home.

Just too many 'nearly games'. We have had our fair share of bad calls too eg SWP disallowed goal that he was not offisde, two penalty calls against Villa (one absolute and one probable) and the Barton 'head butt' to name but a few. Really sad because some were winnable but we just could not click into that extra gear required.
