http://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town/poll_grant_holt_should_not_go_to_euros_says_england_world_cup_legend_sir_geoff_hurst_1_1366118

The link above is to a story in the EADT, typical suffolk rubbish about Grant holt not being good for England

There is a poll on there as to whether its a YES or NO on Holty for england

the poll is currently 60% yes, 40% no

I think it'd be hilarious if the EADT poll indicates Grant for England is a YES so I encourage you to get over there and vote YES

a vote for YES not only indicates your support for our dear leader, but also that Ipswich don't have any fans...

thank you for your time

i don't think anyone from norwich should vote to be honest - he's doing well enough without our help! though not too sure how you work out the figures - does he have 80% yes 20% no or 60% yes 40% no? you have it as 60% yes 20% no. what are the other 20% saying?!?! <yikes>

whoops, yeah should read 40%

or maybe it's 60% yes, 20% no, 20% too mortified to admit to yes

I'm not surprised you agree with Hurst, wellyblue. Afterall Ipswich fans and Hurst have one thing in common - they both live off past glory's. You suit each other well.

Please Ipswich, tell us once more, when did you last win the FA cup and UEFA cup? We must be due another reminder about now surely? Wasn't it around the time when Hadrian was still learning to build brick walls with Lego.....?

<laugh> Better to have past glories than none at all <ok>

I'm glad that I have seen my team pick up some major silverware and beaten the best in Europe along the way. Sadly my little budgie friends this is something you will never experience!

Bayern Munich are pretty good. And I have to take issue with "The best teams in europe"

I presume your talking about the UEFA cup...

To win the UEFA cup you beat (In order)

Aris Thessaloniki F.C
FC Bohemians Praha
AS Saint-Étienne (Fair one, I've actually heard of them)
Widzew Łódź
FC Köln
And lets not forget the final against World-Beaters AZ '67

Maybe things were different in the 14th century, but it isn't exactly an honor roll
